AgfaPhoto APX 400 is an affordable but reliable 35mm black & white film. It is also very flexible as it is already fast at 400 ISO but can be pushed to 1600 ISO. There is also an APX 100 version. All in all this is a great film for the beginner and experienced alike. It offers good contrast and good resolution with relatively little grain. With film prices being what they are, it is nice to have a reliable film, that can give Ilford HP5 Plus a run, at an affordable price.
