Sign of the Times
A rusty old sign that for some reason appeals to me. Hidden is alleyway in Worcester city centre.
Spring Gardens
More of my series of tilt-shifted shots around Worcester city centre. This batch were all taken from the top of St Martin's Gate car park.
Sentinel
The lighthouse at the Hook Penninsula is faithfully watching over us.
Canada
I know its an overused effect but this shot in downtown Toronto really lent itself to it.
City Youth Centre
More of my series of tilt-shifted shots around Worcester city centre. This batch were all taken from the top of St Martin's Gate car park.
Afternoon Sun
I don't know hoe may times I have walked below this clock and just not noticed it was here.
Suspension
The tower of the new Diglis footbridge in Worcester.
Old Lighthouse
On the beach at Burnham-On-Sea you'll find an old wooden lighthouse that is still in use today.
East Window
A stained glass window in Worcester cathedral.
Quay Street
I've added a bit of a grungey look to the phone box outside All Saints church in Quay Street.
Doorway
A doorway from Tudor times still in use today in Tewkesbury.
Liverpool
An area of the docks that shows off both old and new architecture.
Cross of Light
A wall mounted lamp in Worcester Cathedral.
Dilapadated
I'm pretty sure this old barn cannot be in use anymore but it made a dramatic looking model for me.
Rest In Peace
A countryside church offers a stunning place to spend eternity.
Victorian Steps
I rarely use sepia but this shot of the steps leading up to a Victorian garden just lent itself.
Poolbeg Sunset
A familiar site to visitors and residents of Dublin. The Poolbeg generating plant's landmark chimneys, as seen from the departing ferry, on a sunny evening.
Phesant Street
More tilt-shift fun in Worcester. This one is taken from the roof of the car park at Asda.
City Scape
The financial district of Toronto taken from the CN Tower. This shot has been heavily adjusted in Photoshop to remove the effects of glass reflection as it was shot through windows.
Divine Lights
Worcester Cathedral must be the most photographed landmark in the area so here I have attempted to get a new angle.
Bus Station
I thought it would be nice to give bits of Worcester the tilt-shift treatment. This one is of the bus station at Crowngate.
Fuel Crisis
An abandoned filling station is being left to deteriorate whilst arguments over planning permission roll on.
Country Retreat
A hidden haven in the Worcestershire countryside.
Intersection
A stop light masking a mist bound hotel at Niagara Falls, Canada.
Railings
The railings on a new foot bridge in Worcester caught my eye.
Bus Garage
The bus garage and bus-wash in tilt-shift.
Martin's Gate II
More of my series of tilt-shifted shots around Worcester city centre. This batch were all taken from the top of St Martin's Gate car park.
Devine Light
A black and white shot of the church in the historic walled town of Briançon, France.
Reflections of the Past
Part of the new waterside development at Diglis. I particularly like the way this building has been sympathetically restored as opposed to being demolished.
City Skyline
More skyscrapers, this time in Ottawa Ontario.
Shining Tower
A beautiful day in downtown Toronto.
Facade
The front facade of London's Museum of Natural History, colourfully floodlit.
Church on the Hill
A pretty little church sits on top of a pretty little hill.
Glastonbury Tor
A split-tone shot of St Michael's tower at the summit of Glastonbury Tor in Somerset.
Stonehenge
OK so it is a much over-photographed landmark but this is my version of it.
Perseus Saves Andromeda
The fountain at Witley Court (sadly turned off for cleaning today) depicting Perseus and his wife Andromeda.
Studdert Kennedy House
More of my series of tilt-shifted shots around Worcester city centre. This batch were all taken from the top of St Martin's Gate car park.

A night time version of Suspension complete with accommodating moon.

More of my series of tilt-shifted shots around Worcester city centre. This batch were all taken from the top of St Martin's Gate car park.
The Hive
The roof of Worcester's library, locally known as "The Hive".
Westminster
This is a shot I'd wanted to take for quite a while and finally got the chance.
Tumble Down
A dilapidated half-timbered cottage in Herefordshire.
Backstreet Tavern
OK the title is a total lie. This was taken along side the Commandery in Worcester, but it just looked like an ancient backstreet to me with the cobbles and old style lamps. I could imagine there being a welcoming inn complete with wenches and mead. 🙂
Into The Light
I'm not entirely happy with this one but posted it anyway to remind me to have another try. This is the lock steps at Sidbury.
Windmill
I came across this old windmill completely by accident. A happy accident.
Structure In Light
Another picture of the footbridge at Diglis. I have taken way too many shots of it, but it still fascinates me for some reason.
Secret Garden
This rather tired looking door might lead to a secret garden like in the children's novel. But then again, it might not. 🙂
Witley Court
Witley Court in Worcestershire is a Grade 1 listed building and was once one of the great houses of the Midlands. But today it is a spectacular ruin after being devastated by fire in 1937.
Sky Walk
The Sky Walk connects Union Station with the CN Tower in downtown Toronto.
Stairs to the Past
There was something about this staircase that reminded me of my youth in the 70's. So a bit of fun with Photoshop and we're back in orange and brown land.
Ethereal
I did not have a tripod with me and it was cold so I was shivering. Two reasons why this picture is technically not great. But having said that, I think the blurring actually gives quite a nice ethereal effect.
Dolday
Taken from the roof of Crowngate on a quiet Sunday afternoon.
Chapel
Another view I pass on the way to work everyday and I eventually get around to photographing.
Car Park
The car park by The Hive library in tilt-shift.
Cumulus
Dramatic skies over the English Channel. I used a red filter to give the clouds contrast.
Hidden Power
One of the hydro-electric power stations at Niagara Falls, shrouded in mist. It was quite reminiscent of some long lost temple.
Lookout
Broadway Tower in the Cotswolds. Sadly it wasn't open to the public on my visit and therefore I was limited with my choice of views. I was in two minds as to whether I should keep the tree branch to the left in shot or not. But everyone I have asked has preferred this version, so who am I to argue?
Beach Huts
The beach huts on the seafront at Bournemouth.
Asda
The new Asda complex in Lowesmoor, in tilt-shift.
West Window
A view of Worcester Cathedral from the west bank of the River Severn.
Over The Rainbow
Somewhere tucked away in the St Paul's area of Worcester, somebody created this masterpiece.
Fire Escape
A fire escape on the side of a building in downtown Toronto.
Moonlight Swans
A combination of 7 shots, exposure bracketed, then stacked in Photoshop. Luckily most of the swans were sleeping.
Balconies
Apartment balconies from below.
Bedroom Centre
More of my series of tilt-shifted shots around Worcester city centre. This batch were all taken from the top of St Martin's Gate car park.
Splendour
The ceiling and walls of the restored church at Witley Court. I realise that a colour shot of this might have been better to show off the glorious decoration, but to be honest the b+w image appeals to me more.
